Valmont

I was blown away when I got the part in this film, and was so excited to be a part of it. I remember going to audition for it in London, and the waiting room was filled with all of these absolutey beautiful girls. All of them were quite a bit older than me. I was a huge fan of Milos Forman’s work and was very nervous. I could not believe my good luck, when I actually got the part.

Milos Forman is one of the living legends of film, and was amazing to work with. I suggest to anyone who is a fan of film to look up his other films, if you haven’t done so already. At that age, to live in Paris, and get to shoot in those incredible palaces was something i will never forget. My mum and I always joke that I don’t need to get married, because I already got married at 13 in the chapel at Versailles.

Annette Bening was amazing to watch. To get to watch her work was and always will be, a treasured experience. Also working the Fabia Drake. She was quite a ripe old age at that time, but full of life and jokes. She was a consummate legend of the stage and screen.

My mum and I became very close friends with the late Vincent Schiavelli, a great actor, who was also in this film. He was best known for his work in “One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest” and “Ghost”. A wonderful man, who we all miss very much. My love to you Vincenzo, wherever you are.

The costumes were indescribably beautiful. Most of them made of very rare materials, and each of them costing well over eight thousand a piece to make. Wearing those corsets was a whole other story. Two corsets under each dress was agony, but they sure looked good.

I think its a great film and rather underrated.

The Bad Lieutenant

Here again, I got the chance to work with one of my idols in , Werner Herzog.

The film has done really well, both in America and overseas, which I’m glad about. Nicholas Cage’s work in this film is amazing. I think it is my favorite performance of his. Werner is one of the world’s greatest living directors. He knows exactly what he wants, wastes no time and directs with passion, assertion and a great eye for detail. I was not on this show for long, but it will be a treasured experience of mine forever.

American History X

This film was one of the harder ones I’ve done, in terms of performance. To this day, it is hard for me to watch myself in it.

I think it is an incredibly powerful film, and has a very strong message, several strong messages actually. The direction was good, and cinematography strong and very well done. The performances are all very real and true. Edward Norton and Edward Furlong are really pretty darn great in this film.

Someone told me that several schools show this film as part of their curriculum in teaching kids about racism. That is truly something I am honored and proud of. I still have a hard time watching it though, and have only seen it once since it came out.

Imaginary Crimes

This film was a very intense film for me.

Working with Harvey Keitel was an honor. This man is truly an actor’s actor and goes very much in depth into his characters. I learnt a great deal from watching and working with him. We shot it in Portland in fall, I believe. I remember it being very cold and grey, which actually leant to the process for all of us.

It is a powerful film, but I think it is a very good film.

Almost Famous

I had a great time on this movie. I loved working With Cameron Crowe. He is great with actors, and seems to really understand our various processes. He is the only director I have ever worked with that uses music to set the mood of a scene on set.

Everyone had a great time on this film, and I think that you can really feel that when you watch it. It has become a classic now, and I love the movie. Great ensemble cast of actors.
