I have been so busy trying to get the candle line done that I have done absolutely zero for christmas.

I get a bit obsessed with perfection sometimes and I cannot seem to stop until i am satisfied.
As many of you may know There is no website yet for the candle line, It has taken so long in development that I have not even begun to get to the website but I am so anxious to share them with you!
I am normally all over christmas, I love this season however this year I swear it’s simply the strangest thing , I don’t feel the christmas vibe at all.! I don’t know why either it’s baffling. This year I am skipping gifts (unless its a candle! hah!) and I am going to have a very very quiet xmass. I think the pressure to buy gifts is so hard on folks, I am feeling it also and It’s baloney to be frank.
That’s NOT what this seasonal celebration is about! Originally christmas was called Yule and people would come together, prepare the best feast that they could and give thanks, show love to one another and bring a little light into this dark time of the year. The Original Yule traditions are very interesting and are worth looking up. I have always been fascinated by where holidays originated from and I think you might be really surprised at some of their roots!:)
I have so much to be grateful for this year, My cat Gingey survived and I get to have him at my side and THAT ALONE is a miracle and a massive blessing. I am in one piece, I have food, a loving family, a few very close friends, and That is more than many many people have.
Some people asked to see more photos of the candles so I’m going to try and get some on this blog.
The candles come in three sizes Standard, which is 5″h x 4″w then Medium which is 12″ H x 6″ W then The Large which are 14″ H x 6.5″w.
Arg! I cant get this graphic I had done to come up full size!
Each and every box is hand stamped in real sealing wax with the ring that I wear around my neck every day which my father made for me, it is an ancient symbol, the double spiral. Among many other definitions it also means ”as above so below”.
Every scent has it’s own corresponding color of stamped seal.

They come in seven different scents which I will write more about later tonight.

Perhaps I missed it, but what are the scents you are doing/offering?
Also, are you using parafin wax or soy wax? Soy wax burns cleaner, holds a scent MUCH longer and seems to have a larger scent emission.
I can’t WAIT to get one or two of these for my home!

I am soooo excited and happy for you and the awesome outcome of your hard work. It truly blows me away. Really. Not to sound like the lunatic you must think I am but I honestly feel such a sense of pride for you. You know, I know I am nobody to you, just another fan “out there” somewhere in cyberland, but I truly am happy and somewhat of a brag when I say you are my friend and the pride is genuine, again not because of your status, but of who you are and what you have accomplished. Damn girl! …. you are just incredible! I haven’t had much access to a real computer in a few and have not been able to see any of the pic until this A.M. Which by the way… the Allan Amato pic??? WOW! Killer. So what is going on with you & Kyle’s project? LOL… I am rather demanding aren’t I?? lol.. I have to tell you, if I ever had anything near a man crush, it would be Kyle. I have never seen such a caring and cool individual.. The fact he voluteers time & resources to City Kitties in Philly …a rescue shelter for cats is awesome in itself but what a great all around guy… I soooo support you working with him… Every chance I get to sing his praises to my long time bud Nikki Sixx, I do. I know he’s a fan & they both have a love for leica cameras so it is good. If all goes well, I hope to hook them up for a day next year, just to talk photos & camera stuff. Very excited about that. I’m absolutely thrilled you’re making your candles available! They look gorgeous, and I’m sure will light up my space and fill it with lovely aroma. I’ll be sending you out a money order right away.
Also, as for what you were saying about the Season….two of my close friends and I celebrated Yule this evening in a very warm, joyous way. We shared food we had made, talked, created a Yule log, and exchanged meaningful gifts. It was a much-needed respite from the hectic pace with which the days have been racing by this month.

The packaging looks very nice, and I love the sealing wax. I wish it was used more often. And the candles themselves look absolutely brilliant when lit and burning!
