Worldwide Revolution & The spanish uprising
HI Guys,
Today I watched footage of what’s happening in Spain.
Country after country are standing up against the injustices of their respective governments.
This is the year, 2011 where the world is standing up and screaming ENOUGH INJUSTICE, ENOUGH POLITICAL SCAMMING, ENOUGH WITH THE TYRANNY IMPOSED ON THE PEOPLE VIA THEIR GOVERNMENTS!
What do I have to say about all of this?
IT’S ABOUT TIME!
People worldwide have been forced into silence , forced to be afraid to speak up/out about their opinions.
As scary as it is, If a system is corrupt it must be broken down in order to be built up again properly. The corruption must be exposed and The people must have the right to choose their government and have a say in what their country is doing “On their behalf”. I salute Spain and all of the other countries of the world that are fighting for their human rights to have their voices heard. It inspires me and gives me great faith in humanity. For too long the world has been run by these invisible “powers that be”. The rich getting richer and fatter off of the blood sweat and tears of the working people, and the working men and women of this world are having everything taken from them so that even surviving has become close to impossible. The time has come worldwide to wake up and stand up for our rights as human beings. I pray for all the brave people in this world that are fighting for their rights with their very lives, May they be protected , may they be safe and well and may Justice prevail for the working man and woman.

Wow, Spain too? It seems that there’s a massive chain-reaction of grass-roots action in the world today. One country rises up, and the next country sees this, becomes inspired and gains hope from seeing this, and rises against its own government. This could be partially fueled by the digital age, as common people are more informed about what goes on in the world these days. Or maybe it’s just some sort of “critical mass,” when the governments push the people just that one straw too far.
Ironic that in the U.S., the nation that originally kicked off the grass-roots revolution movement in 1776, is now behind the times. Maybe the other governments just didn’t do as a good a job of creating a fake democracy as we have here. Hmmm, then again, the Tea Party Movement did kind of spring up suddenly, before it was hijacked by the Neocons. So the will is certainly there.
I like to think we’re on the verge of a new golden age of freedom. How long will this one last? Who can say? But let’s all hope it continues to grow, and lasts for a long time.
No much tu say. Just Thank You. For helping the world know, as our own media does not inform. For supporting and helping spread. There is much to be gained.
This is Awesome! Thanks Fairuza for posting this (My head’s been in the clouds or ground or… elsewhere lately).
We’re LONG overdue for a revolution. I think the desire to re-create society as we truly want it has been growing within everyone for a long time, and with each country that falls into revolt, like dominoes, the collective unconscious will move towards revolt even more. This is both good and bad. It’s good because it will wake up most Americans who are relatively comfortable, sedated by drugs and poor nutrition and lack of sleep, hypnotized by media, basically… asleep. But it’s bad, m’kay, real bad if we choose to counter oppression with a violent uprising. If that happened, can we honestly say we’ve evolved enough to deserve a peaceful new beginning? We’d just be perpetuating the aggressive behavior that we claim to denounce. SOMETIMES aggression towards a Tyrannical Government is warranted, but I don’t think this is the time.
The truest form of Revolution - spiritual and otherwise - is simply this: Non-Cooperation! We simply stop playing this fixed game and start building the world we want, and this is what those in power fear most.
Easier said than done of course. But the alternatives involve pressing against the wall the power elite have erected (haha I said erected) via 1.) Violent Revolution: Our government is more than prepared for acts of “Domestic Terrorism” (which is what it will be called) with the Patriot Act, advanced crowd control/riot weaponry, etc. No one wants this, but when people are pushed… and then there’s 2.) Non-Violent Revolution is the lesser of two evils, but still less-effective than Non-Cooperation in my opinion and here’s why. Whether you take your cup of Revolution with a splash of Violence or a pinch of Peace, you’re still putting all your energy into fighting against the establishment. What you resist persists, in some form or another! Besides, we’re up against a system that has been aware of our impending evolution so has orchestrated our societal collapse. It hopes to keep us feeling afraid, or worse yet, angry (a state of being based in fear, not love). It’s aware of arcane power and how to (mis)use it for their benefit. For example; Minerva the Goddess of War’s Birthday is March 19th: the day the U.S. assaulted Libya and Iraq (in 2003) - this is not coincidence!! http://tinyurl.com/43t7noc Also, May 1st is Beltane, and Bin Laden was killed on this day of sacrifice. To those who scream conspiracy, it’s right in front of our faces… Please Consider; Govern = to control Ment = Mind (Mente is Latin for Mind). But that’s an entirely different subject.
So what would we be fighting for anyway?! When the revolt succeeds, then what? Do we want to continue our modern lifestyle or go back to the way things were 10, 20 or 100 years ago - Gawd I hope neither! Do we just want more cosmetic tweaks to our current system (ie. Obama)? Revolt is understandable, but it’s ultimately not constructive. Anyone argues with that, just LOOK at where our world is now. Our current state of being is a result of the collective steps we’ve taken as a species. We didn’t end up here by accident, nor are we victims who didn’t have a say. We’re here for a reason; to decide whether to remain isolated and detached from one another, or to tear down the walls we’ve built around ourselves and start to genuinely connect and love one another.
So rather than spending our energies destroying something we know we don’t want, let’s decide on and create something we DO want. What do we want our world to look like? Honestly, it will all happen; Violent and Non-Violent Resistance, Political Reformation, etc. Although I hope that Non-Cooperation and a move towards building a new world is what takes center stage. (Personally, I’m trying very hard to start a commune in Oregon with like-minded creative people, so we can provide a co-operative living blue-print to give to others who are interested. Ack! I’ve gone over my million character limit, so I’ll stop ranting for now.)
Sorry for being long-winded, but this is something I’m quite passionate about.
Thanks again Ru for shining your light on this, and for doing what you do by being who you are! :)

HERE HERE! I absolutely could not agree more. I believe what has been built and what exists now has to be destroyed in order for something new and better to grow out of it. It’s beyond repair, it has to be torn down, and something else built in it’s place. Something that’s good for ALL people, not just a few “elite”. The surprising thing, is I overhear certain people talking about these events, and saying how horrible it is, all this instability in the world, etc.. Some really don’t see what’s happening… only feel panic about the boat being rocked, all the while oblivious to the calmer, better shores we could swim to, if only the boat tips. I think Shawn has the correct thought, I believe it to be a form of critical mass being reached. Enough is enough. Indeed.
Off topic, and I know there’s not much left of the day… but happy birthday!!! I hope you have had the most marvelous day yet! =)
When does it happen in America? We are overdue by decades.
