Allo allo allo
HI all,
I’m writing this blog to answer the people who are complaining that I don’t respond enough to their questions and that I am not posting regularly enough.
When I am travelling or working intensely or creating intensely I become quite internal as I am processing.
To anyone reading this who is a creative, I know that you will understand.
I am not used to discussing and posting about every little detail of my life and I seriously doubt that I will ever be that public.
I find twitter and facebook both a bit of a challenge in that I have always been of the belief that one should choose one’s words carefully and not blather on about whatever thought happens to be rolling around in one’s head at any given time.
There are far more than enough people who do that.
I have noticed that tons of folks on Facebook and twitter (especially those in entertainment) post compulsively about every little thing and that’s fine for them-to each his own- but that is not the way I happen to be that’s all.
Also now that the film is over and done with and I am somewhat recovered I can set about to make sure all of the autographed photos will be sent out along with their little surprises:)
Thank you for your patience, love and support, I hope every single one of you is doing well, staying strong, and fighting the good fight!:)

I can relate to that. Especially nowadays with the internet on nearly any cell phone and people spilling every personal detail anywhere they can. I prefer to keep my private life private and so on. I’m obviously not famous, and I don’t want to be, I do respect how you do things, it’s like you act for a living but you don’t go out of you way to be some celebrity and try to get constant publicity, it’s just to be a professional. That’s cool right there. There’s a lot of famous people making an ass of themselves for attention and in the end it just gives these people laughable reputations in the long run. What you post on the web is great, I mean you’re connecting with your fans and keeping it where you want.
I hope you are doing well with your crafting :) are you recording any music? today my boyfriend and I are making little gnomes and elves out of clay :) you are a huge inspiration to me. Kisses
Hello. I am new here. Fairuza, if you read this, i am into punk-fyi….do you ever listen to Propagandhi? Rad and super political music that totally hits home for anyone who hates how our country is currently and going due to who is in office and his puppetteers!…they are from Winnipeg.
Fairuza, I understand completely that you are a very busy lady. You’ve always been my favorite actress. And you are the ONLY famous actress, or actor for that matter, that has ever responded to my tweets, e-mails, etc, which in my book, makes you that much more special and personable. It is also cool that you are cool and not like the celebs that create drama for notoriety…Love ya,, you rock, Fairuza
Can relate, once involved in a gig or activity, I am one with it to the almost exclusion of any thing else. Look forward to your new movies, etc
Peace and Many Many Happy Manifestations-REM
I agree with you on the posting on facebook thing. People just post every little detail about their lives like I need to know, or even have the time to read… I mean i really dont need to know that its windy out tonite, or how board you are.
I keep my friends limited on facebook for a reason. People seem to think the ones with the more facebook friends wins. Meanwhile, they dont even talk to eachother LOL!
I understand. Do your craft and don’y worry, the fans will understand.
Fairuza you are such an inspiration to me. I’ve been following you since I watch The Craft. Congratulations for everything you have achieved, you are the best actress I have ever seen and a wonderful singer! I wish you the best for your life and lots of success. I am from Uruguay, so please apologize me if my English is not perfect. I love you Fairuza!
It’s refreshing to see such a down to earth individual from “Hollywood”. I’ve always wondered what happened to your on screen career lately, but after reading some of the content on your site I realize that your still very much active. :) I’ll def have to check out your music, which until now I had no idea that you were traveling down such a path. It’s good to see more multi talented, creative, people out there in the world exploring their craft. I wish you success in your explorations Fairuza.
OMG I just found this!!! Hi Fairuza!! I’ve been a fan since Return To Oz. I love your site(I couldn’t find anywhere else to post that here-still a newbie at all this stuff). I loved the music samples and all I have to say is …Where can I get it and when! Hey it’s great that you’re even on social networks and websites for ppl to even post. Some ppl have these things and it’s managed by someone else and you register and never even get any updates.
P.S. Celebrity or not you are still entitled to a life and your privacy!
i just joined this site today, as one of my longest conversations i had last night was about enjoying the films you are in. i’m not going to be a shameless sycophant here, i just wanted to express my appreciation for your work. i am a songwriter, and more than a couple of my songs have been inspired by roles you play. so, thank you for that.
never forget that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. your imagination is me, and my imagination is you. this is applicable to all consciousness in this particular universe the “butterfly effect” does not exist…only consciousness, matter, time and space. however, space and time are an illusion, matter is a vibration, and consciousness is the ONLY thing that gives the existence of the others any meaning whatsoever.
that was a VERY brief summarization…but i lay it on all people in hopes off achieving a human race of a higher level of consciousness.
thanks for you time.

Dear Fairuza:
I’ve seen you in a couple of movies and was struck at how you jump right off the screen. You have a stunning screen presence - like no one I’ve seen before. For instance, in The Craft you took a mediocre movie and at least turned your part into something interesting to watch. You made the rest of the cast look like the mediocre actors they are. Do you have any new movie projects coming up?
Regards,
Chance
P.S.I wouldn’t have hesitated to cast you at Lisabeth Salander for The Girl with the Dragon etc. You are perfect for that role. I’m ticked off you didn’t get it.
with you on the whole facebook/twitter thing—“stormwinds” single is great—such a hypnotic groove—can’t wait for the next musical piece, whenever that comes : ) great voice, great lyrics!
HI M. Jonas Muray,
Thanks for the note and the compliments, I really liked your VERY brief summarization. Thanks YOu and I agree, with ALL of it.

Dear Fairuza,
I appreciate your art and work and they are reward enough. Your love and care are shown in the time taken in your works. So there is no reason to feel that you have not already given greatly. I myself find life busy enough without such technological distractions.
May the sun shine on you today and everday.
