I had the most wonderful experience today that I wanted to share with you!
I went to this Great place called “The Bindery” On melrose ave. I was met by the shops owner who was One of the coolest people who I have had the pleasure of meeting in a long long while. I saw the most incredible things there. I had no idea that you could do such inventive creative things with books!! I learned about Bindings, The myriad of different techniques and such beauty I tell you, You could probably actually hear my jaw thud as It hit the floor!! I saw books covered in midieval tapestry, collage, even screening a.k.a. Wire mesh!!! The handmade paper books really caught my eye. I have been researching alot for my little book. Many people have been trying to convince me to self-publish and have the books made in China as most people do. After seeing what can be done with handmade books though I was simply blown away. They are true works of art, some of these books are!!!
I strive very hard for perfection with every project I take on, That’s why it takes me so much longer then it would say If some company was doing it all for me. I like to take a hands on approach with everything I do and I think It shows In the uniqueness and quality of the things I make. I put my whole heart into it.

Hello folks,
So…. it has been an interesting few days. I was meant to go the the NAMM show on Friday with my new publicist ( just started working with her) but got stuck behind a huge traffic accident and couldn’t make it. Saturday morning I had to go to the Independent Spirit Awards nominee brunch as I am an alumni. I had the honor of winning Best Actress years ago. It was a pretty chill event,easy mellow press lineup. It was held at the BOA steakhouse on Sunset. It was a lovely treat to wake up on a gorgeous Saturday morning and go have an incredible brunch.They generously supplied a huge buffet of wonderful brunch foods,eggs benedict, steak,salmon, mimosas and what have you. I saw only a few people I knew there but It was a pleasant enough scene. It was really nice to be invited and thought of, being that I won that award years and years ago:) I then took off for the drive to the NAMM show.There was horrible traffic but I was still excited. We got there and it was MASSIVE. An enormous Convention Centre. We went and got our badges but sadly ,they had run completely out of maps.!!!!! drat!!! Imagine three floors of hundreds and hundreds of booths and no map”.O.K”. I thought to myself, “This is going to be interesting”.!! …

Hullo people:)!
Last night I had the pleasure of going to dinner with one of my favorites friends Neil Gaiman and a bunch of his friends.
They were all very cool folks, writers and interesting types. I spoke with Neil about his recent marriage, he is so happy which makes me very glad. We also spoke about my kids book, the story and artwork e.t.c. and the logistics of getting it out there as well as the photography book I am hoping to get done this year:)

Phew! I just wanted to let everybody know that The head of Tunecore got in touch with me and they are working now to find out what happened. They have been very responsive polite and helpful. I am confident now that this will all get worked out!!
