My fav on this list is Dead Man, best Johnny’s movie I believe. But I like his performance in the latter ones more.
Have you seen The Good Humor Man, the one with Jorge Garcia?
Also what do you think about Bubba Ho-Tep, do you enjoy watching B-Movies?
And what’s your favorite horror movie? Ü
I Love “Dead Man”,I own the soundtrack. I am a big Jim Jarmush fan:)
I have yet to see “The Good Humor Man”, But I’ll see if I cant find it:) Thanks for the recommendation!
Yes I Love B-Movies:)

Yeah, Deadman is a good movie. Knowbody and William Blake. Beautiful photography. So many classic scenes, Night on Earth, Mystery Train, Ghost Dog, and Tom being cool in Down By Law. Great stuff. No Hal Hartly ?I see you have Herzog up there. I reading one of his books at present(of walking in ice) would recommend. Fave Herzog, hmmm, probably his documentary work I enjoy most. The doco about working with Kinsky on Fitzcarraldo is excellent but there are many more as you know. Would recommend Harmony Korines Gummo and also Julian Donkey Boy. Wim Wenders, yes, of course, again excellent choices, My American Friend is my favorite. The Hangover…I watched that and thought it was dreadful, didn’t get what people see in it. I’m more a fan of I Love You Man. Very funny for the genre. Loving me some Falini, La Strada…breaks my heart that movie. Falini is awesome (Christ I’m gonna start doing my Woody Allen impersonation any minute now…and start ranting on Bergman). What about classic Film Noir…you gotta love them femmes Fairuza. What about Lost Highway by Lynch ? Micheal Clayton…Solaris (the remake)…I movie I would reccomend…well, a slice of British Drama made by in my opinion the best Character actor since Alec Guinness NIL BY MOUTH by Gary Oldman. God I love talking movies…couldn’t you just go on and on. If you read my rant…thanks F. (Liverpool UK)
So nice to know that you love the works of “Studio Ghibli”. I really like them too, especially “Kiki’s Delivery Service” and “Whispers of the Heart”.
Some of my favourite movies:
Blade Runner
Once upon a time in the west
1900
Betty Blue ;)
Dawn of the Dead (Original from 1978)
Suspiria
Rumble Fish
The Goonies
Breakfast Club
St. Elmo’s Fire
Girl Interrupted
True Romance
The Good, the bad and the Ugly
Lost Highway
One flew over the cuckoos nest
First Blood
almost everything by Dario Argento, Jackie Chan, Charles Bronson, Sonny Chiba….
also big fan of exploitation movies.
wow you listed a few of my favorites there!:)
I Love miyazaki, His films always fill me with such a sense of hope and light, as cheezy as that may sound its true.
He has retained his innocence as an adult and that combined with his great gift and artistry is just awe inspiring to me.

Dead Man. What more has to be said. One of my top ten without a doubt. I don’t know how many people I have tried to turn on to that movie. Most don’t get it. Ah well. Glad to be among “friends”. TY
Dogs In Space - one of the greatest movies ever…. the end breaks my heart every time….
Sx
PS, If you love Dogs In Space, you should check out “Suburbia”.
Amadeus, and A Clockwork Orange. We should have movie night together.
Thanks for brightening my day.

Hi everyone. And Fairuza mostly. I don’t use tweeter that much but i just love the site! I knew you were a great actress but wouldn’t have thought you were such a great artist in many aspects of the term! RETURN TO OZ was an amazing movie. Although during the days when i was watching the craft i couldn’t tell that you were the one that played Dorothy.
And as a big Horror movie fan, my fav is SUSPIRIA. A CLOCKWORK ORANGE was fascinating too. There are some interesting movies you guys name there. Some that i have yet to watch.
Ouaou, so many great movies! :D I love Herzog, Wenders, Polanski, Gilliam and Kubrick ! Have you ever watched any Eric Rohmer movies? He’s one of my favorites. I LOVE Return to Oz and The Worst Witch so much! :D You’re so lucky, they look like they were so much fun to be in! Me and my Girlfriend watch Worst Witch every Halloween ^=^ Also, I love your performance in Valmont! :D It’s also one of my favorite movies ^=^ Your Cecile was so much cuter and much more interesting than Uma Thurman’s ^=^
