I first saw Miss. Balk in 'Return to Oz' when she was about, what...12?(ooh she was so cute!) Then years later again in 'The Craft' and was blown away when I discovered it was the same girl. Wow! A demonically sensuous force who gave that movie a real hip edgy feel! I love that mischievous sexy and ever so slightly scary grin of hers and the whole Goth look really adds to her dangerous sexuality and intensity. At a time when movies are stuffed to the nines with one-dimensional anorexic Barbie doll bitch clones, it's great to see a really talented actress with such a great range in talent who exudes a steely charisma, a sardonic sense of humor and a natural understated beauty and sexiness...
...oh and did I mention I think she's real hot?

Hello! Hum... I just don4t know how to begin, but...ha ha... All my childhood have been marked with RETURN TO OZ... that film is wonderful, all that magic.... And I discovered That her name, of that girl in the film, is Fairuza...!! So I came here i this site... My Birthday was yesterday! I am now 18 years old, and my name is Ricardo...I was born in the same year that RETURN TO OZ was produced.. and that is the special thing for me! I watched a lot of times, and never get sick with the film (oh i sorry, i am Brazilian and my English is horrible) What surprised me...is see pictures of her in the site.... when i was a child too, i was in love with her because she was beautiful.. !! Hello, first I would just like to say that this is one great site. Well I guess ill just get to what I want to say. When I was young (really young) I remember that I had the biggest crush on this girl form the movie the "Worst witch" every year I looked forward to Halloween just to see her. As I got older I finally realized who she was and that she had made other movies, but now I still long for the one (Movie) that introduced me to one of the most beautiful creatures on this planet. Once again I thank you, cuz I leaned a lot more about her here. I had no idea Ru was in so many flicks (that I had seen) I just got reintroduced with "Return To Oz" That's one of the few I hadn't seen. My girlfriend wanted me to see it for so long and we tracked it down on dvd. Then I was interested in finding out what else she had done since she looked so familiar. What the the Hell, I couldn't believe it. "The Craft". I have got to rent "The Craft" just to goof on the juxtoposition of Ru as Dorothy and Ru's Character trying conjure up the spirit of "HE WHO COMES" AWESOME!!!

this is for Arizona Pete (not Fairuza Balk) good show old boy on a spiffing website. im studying fan sites as a dissertation subject in Britain and yours is certainly a well written, sensitive piece with an obvious passion for your subject. you don't sound mental in the head which is where most fan sites fail and you project a genuine interest for the actress that you represent. we don't really know much of Fairuza Balk in England and the reason i picked your site was (obviously she's very pretty that's reason enough) because web sites are primarily a source of education and yours comes highly recommended in that field. i knew nothing of Miss Balk at 9.00am and an hour later i have appreciation enough to check out some films. great links, subjects, plenty of visual material, more than substantial depth and a real pleasure to read. i was fully engrossed.

Okay, just lemme say that that "smooth" song is extremely lame. Second of all, Fairuza Balk is a person. A very beautiful person, yes, but alas, she is just a person. I could be wrong, but when I think about the people who frequent this site, I think of some crazy obsessed people.
